Then in 2023 the cakes were broken up and re-packaged into tins.

22 years of aging has given this tea a full and rich taste woody taste with an underlying sweetness. Nice not quite dry Guangdong storage has given this a silky smooth aged character but without too much dank/mold character. A good choice for those seeking a mature aged tea with Guangdong storage character. This is my personal favorite from all the teas in this series!

The "#4 Raw" is the sixth release in the FT "Aged Xiao Tai" series.

100 Grams per tin

April 28th 2023 is the date on the tin and refers to the date of re-packaging. The tea itself was harvested in 2001!

The other teas in this series can be found here:

2023 FT 25 Years "#6 Xiao Tai" Aged Raw Pu-erh Tea

2022 FT 18 Years "Mountain Rhyme" Aged Raw Pu-erh Tea

FT "30 Years Aged" Ripe Loose Leaf Pu-erh Tea

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0763/3302/3395/files/2023-ft-22-years-4-raw-aged-raw-pu-erh-tea_1.png?v=1793046418
